Curious minds, wild adventures
At Lobitos Family Daycare in San Francisco's Mission District, children don't just sit and memorize. They explore, question, create, and discover. Our holistic, bilingual program is built for curious little ones ages 6 months to 5 years, nurturing the whole child: mind, body, heart, and imagination.
How children learn with us
We believe the early years are where a lifelong love of learning begins, and that it begins through play. Our days blend hands-on discovery, time in nature, art, and gentle guidance, all shaped around each child's own pace and curiosity. Children learn best when they feel safe, respected, and free to explore, so that's exactly the environment we create.
Woven through everything is the STEAM approach (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), which turns everyday wonder into real thinking, creativity, and problem-solving from the very earliest age.
How we teach
Our program blends project-based learning, guided and free play, and predictable routines that still leave room for a child's own discoveries. Ms. Leily observes each child closely and stays in constant communication with families, so your little one is always known, supported, and growing at their own pace.
